AMAG Technology Releases Symmetry Access Control V9.12
Announcing the release of Symmetry Access Control 9.12, delivering smarter alarm management and improved system performance. This latest update introduces alarm routing to User Roles and User Accounts while still supporting routing to individual Symmetry clients—giving you greater flexibility and control over how alarms are viewed and managed.
Symmetry 9.12 also features a new messaging system that minimizes performance overhead by reducing reliance on SQL database lookups for alarm data. With this release, alarm processing has been reimagined: User Roles, Clients, and User Accounts now “subscribe” to alarms based on customizable day/time windows defined in a Routing Profile, enabling more efficient and tailored alarm delivery. AMAG Technology and AVUTEC Launch New Vehicle Access Control Integration
AMAG Technology is excited to announce a powerful new integration with AVUTEC, bringing advanced vehicle access management to our customers. By combining AMAG’s trusted Symmetry Access Control System with AVUTEC’s high-performance ANPR camera systems—through the dedicated SymmetryAxon plugin—organizations can seamlessly manage vehicle access at controlled gates using nothing more than a license plate.
AVUTEC’s SymmetryAxon plugin enables X-Series ANPR/LPR devices to automatically grant access to Symmetry cardholders based on their vehicle’s license plate. As a certified AMAG partner, AVUTEC developed the specialized SymmetryAxon software to run directly on their ANPR cameras, creating a real-time, automated solution for secure vehicle entry and exit. These updates document the Microsoft patches that have been evaluated against supported Windows and Server platforms for Symmetry versions v8.x, v9.x and hosted systems. We are no longer updating the V7.0.1 patch testing due to Microsoft withdrawing free OS support.
