COVID-19 Update from AMAG

As you are aware, world health experts continue to closely monitor updates about coronavirus (COVID-19) as it continues to spread. In January, AMAG began planning, executing and communicating to all levels of our business surrounding COVID-19 about the precautions to take and follow.

The Business and Continuity Planning and Health & Safety teams at AMAG continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation by regularly reviewing the information provided by the World Health Organization. We are working to ensure that our employees are prepared to take precautions to protect themselves and our customers from the virus, should the need arise.

We understand that many of our partners are putting their business continuity plans in place, as are we, and we want to assure you that we will continue to work with you to meet your specific needs. We are taking proactive steps to ensure uninterrupted service and delivery to you.

Supply Chain Impact

At this time, we foresee no issues with our supply chain delivery. AMAG manufactured products at this time are unlikely to be affected by this issue due to our ability to understand and somewhat protect and control our own manufacturing planning.

We are seeing the early signs of a normal return to work in ASIA where most components are made even though most AMAG suppliers have not been affected.

We are working closely with our OEM partners and anticipate no issues at this time.

We are seeing a number of customers bringing orders forward in anticipation of a supply chain issue and this could become a self-fulfilling cause of shortage. We would encourage customers to place orders as soon as possible for delivery when required for which AMAG will build and hold product accordingly.

Should customers still wish to forward order, AMAG will honor the one year SSA on software from a date agreed at the time of delivery.

Employee Hygiene and Prevention:

We are instructing all AMAG personnel to follow Public Health England, the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines in regards to preventing COVID-19:

Additionally, we are reminding all employees to stay home if they are ill. Following CDC recommendations, we will send home any employee who appears to have acute respiratory illness symptoms, and are instructing employees to not report back to work until they have been cleared by a physician. All confirmed cases of employees infected with COVID-19 will be reported to our Health & Safety team.

G4S Travel Policy

AMAG has limited all international business travel unless it is business-critical. We have also asked all employees to consider limiting personal travel as we continue to monitor the situation here and abroad. For people who have recently traveled to countries under a Level 2 or 3 travel advisory by the U.S. Center for Disease Control, we are mandating a 14-day self-imposed quarantine. As the virus spreads, we will communicate new processes and updates with teams and clients.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will send updates as appropriate. Our relationship with you is important and we are committed to working with you through this situation to keep your people, property and assets safe. Thank you for your continued support, your time and your business.
