Enhancements for Symmetry IDM include:

  • The addition of an Email Report will allow administrative users to run a report to see what emails were sent by the system for GUEST, CONNECT, or IDM. This report can be filtered by date, email type, recipient, and status.

Enhancements for Symmetry CONNECT include:

  • The ability to assign credentials in bulk to identities in CONNECT. This functionality is accessible via a new Uploads tab where users can assign credentials to existing identities via a CSV file and view past uploads.

Enhancements for Symmetry GUEST include:

  • The Visitor Information page has been updated to improve the overall user experience for both web and mobile users. Updates include:

  • The ability to display the visit history in a table format.

  • Scheduling a new visit will now bring you to the New Visit page.

  • The editing of a visit will now take place in the New Visit page.

  • Users will now have the ability to cycle through the different visits directly in the Visit Information section of the page.

  • Receptionists can not use group mode to edit, check out, and check back in group visits. Hosts and Host Delegates will now also have the ability to use group mode to edit group visits and check them out when configured. When editing a group visit:

  • Visitors can be added.

  • Visitors can be removed, which will cancel that individual visit.

  • Any fields that do not match for all visits will be highlighted and either cleared out or set to the default value.

  • When editing a visit that is part of a group visit, the user will be given the option to save this update for this individual visit or the group reducing the chance of visits getting out of sync.

Coming soon…

  • Ability to edit checked-in visits with Symmetry GUEST.

  • Ability to resync an Access Control Integration in Symmetry CONNECT

  • User Experience improvements to the Access-Request screens in Symmetry CONNECT.

Watch for these enhancements in the next blog.
