Enhancements for Symmetry CONNECT include:

  • The ability to define multiple access request workflows: Once defined, a workflow can be assigned to an access code individually or in bulk. This will allow you to define different workflows for different groups of access codes such as high security and low-security areas.

  • The ability to define an access control rule that must be met to both request an access code and approve an access code: This will allow you to define and enforce the criteria needed for a user, such as needing certification to be able to approve or request a particular access code.

  • The ability to set pre-defined relative durations for an access group that can be used when a user requests access: This will allow you to define a time such as temporary, and set it to seven days, or permanent, and set it to three-hundred and sixty-five days. When a user requests access, they can then select temporary or permanent for the duration instead of having to set a period explicitly.

Enhancements for Symmetry GUEST include:

  • The ability to define access that should be provided to a visitor before check-in as well as the amount of time before the visit that the access should be assigned: This will allow you to provide a visitor with access to a garage, security gate, or any other access needed to get on the grounds of the property, then when formally checked-in, additional internal access can be assigned.

  • Ability to dynamically create credential types for both Symmetry CONNECT and GUEST
