AMAG Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce that Matt Barnette has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Matt will retain his current responsibilities in North America and has the added responsibilities of selling and marketing AMAG’s Symmetry™ Security Management System worldwide. Matt continues to report to Robert Sawyer, President and CEO of AMAG Technology, Inc.

Matt has the strategic focus necessary to globally expand the Symmetry brand recognition and the company’s growth in the years to come. In addition to his new responsibility, Mr. Barnette has also been appointed to the AMAG Board of Directors.
Mr. Barnette began his career at AMAG in 2004 as a National Accounts Manager. He was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2007 where he oversaw a team of U.S.-based regional sales managers, field sales engineers and the marketing department. Last year he became Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and expanded AMAG’s sales, marketing and Government systems group.
