Thorough training is vital to our success. For both staff and customers, full understanding of the systems ensures you will be able to fully exploit the maximum potential of the AMAG Technology system.

Training, for our own personnel and for our distributors, is one of the vital elements that helps make AMAG Technology a market leading manufacturer. It is the quality of our training that keeps us ahead of the field, ensuring that our wide range of access control products can always be maintained at peak performance by our distributors.

Our staff undergo thorough and on-going training. Whatever their requirements, our distributors and their end users can be sure that the products we supply will be the most efficient, reliable and cost-effective solutions available.

Because we believe passionately in partnership, we want our distributors to be able to maximize the potential of the systems they install and maintain. To fulfill this desire, we have fully equipped in-house training facilities that can provide specialist technical training for our distributor personnel. 

AMAG Technology 's Education and Training Department offers several different training classes. Each class has its own unique focus, certification and limitations. As a part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best in support and products, we constantly refine and update our training program and our products to ensure that you receive the latest in technology enhancements and current product design.

New 2010 Reseller Training and Certification Requirements

AMAG is pleased to announce changes to our Reseller Certification Model requirements for 2010.  Our primary goal is to ensure that all technicians who work with the Symmetry™ family of products are fully qualified and well prepared to cost-effectively meet the needs of their customers using AMAG products.  Our new lines of Digital Video and Intrusion Detection products that are slated for production this year will add many new facets to our already-sophisticated lineup.  Our analysis of how we can best provide Exceptional Customer Service is to provide and require a classroom training component that provides an extensive hands-on learning experience.   The following description details this plan. 

2010 Symmetry Essentials Training Course

Effective May 1, 2010 AMAG will offer the new Symmetry Essentials five-day training course that will  provide the knowledge and skills required for first-level certification for AMAG resellers: AMAG Symmetry Technician.  Upon the effective date of June 1, 2010 all new uncertified trainees must participate in and successfully complete the Symmetry Essentials training class in order to initially certify.   The hands-on class will provide experience on the current and emerging cutting-edge Symmetry™ products and integrations.  For convenience beginning in June, classes will be offered at our Torrance, CA corporate headquarters and in the Washington DC area.   Additionally for the convenience of those who wish to train large groups in one session, we will continue to offer onsite training upon special request.   

Pre-Requisite
 
A pre-requisite requirement for the new Symmetry Essentials class is that each trainee receives a passing grade for the following web-based training courses:: 

1. Symmetry Essentials Course 104

2. Symmetry Digital Video & Networking Course 106

This pre-requisite will provide ample product introduction and prepare the trainee for the classroom, thus maximizing the classroom time with more valuable hands-on experience.

New trainees registering for online training after the June 1, 2010 effective date will be able to register and participate in our pre-requisite online courses at no charge.
