Command Control is an essential feature of the Symmetry Security System, allowing the system administrator control over the complete security management of the building or complex. The system can be designed specifically to meet your exact security requirements.
The user has a wide range of manual commands to choose from in order to control readers, monitor points, output switching relays and door locking devices. At any time the status of single or multiple devices can be reviewed and even displayed visually on graphical maps of the building or complex.
Scheduled Commands
Timed commands can be defined easily, linking multiple commands to automatically occur at the start and stop times of any chosen time code and can be configured to operate during a defined date range.
Trigger Commands
Trigger commands enable the system administrator to identify and monitor potential security risks. This feature is essential for protecting high risk security sites. The feature processes your requirements and determines that if a particular event occurs within a specified time period, then an action will be automatically performed by the system.
For example if a door is held open in the front lobby, the reader will send a message to the digital video camera in the front lobby to commence live recording. The live footage can then be transferred to the head control room and be displayed on monitor 2. This can be programmed to trigger during office hours.
The trigger can then be managed and filtered by the operator to define what happened, where the event took place, identify who caused the alarm, specify the time of day and rate the alarm in order of priority.
